Upcoming Events

The April BLBG meeting in 2014 will be in our usual location the Radisson Blu Martinez on Tuesday 15th April, starting at the usual time of 6:30pm

We have all seen new people commencing work in organisations and companies arrive full of enthusiasm and excitement only to have those feelings ebb away within the first few months of employment.

Very often, as far as managers are concerned, there is no discernible reason why this has arisen. Often the employee is blamed for not being the person that they met at interview.

This curious aspect of organizational life has been put into the form of a dramatic, interactive workshop by Maurice Collis with the title -The Dark Shadow of Opinion. Maurice and Dr Fida will discuss the origins of this workshop and the collaboration with AUB and the students, illustrated by a short excerpt from the play delivered by the students.
