The next BLBG Meeting will be on Tuesday 14 September at the SAS Radisson in Ain El Mreisseh starting at the usual time of 6.30pm. The theme of this meeting will be anti-corruption. 

Piers Cazelet, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy will discuss the UK's new anti-bribery legislation which will soon come into force for all UK businesses, irrespective of where they are operating.

It is important that such businesses understand and operate according to this legislation, as the penalties for being caught are severe.  A representative of the Lebanese Legislature wiill also speak on the subject from a Lebanese perspective.

Given the business environment in Lebanon, this is a particularly relevant topic to start off the winter season. We look forward to seeing you after the long summer break.
